Best Green Goddess Dressing Recipe

This Green Goddess Dip is creamy, fresh, herby, and a little bit magical. The real secret? A hit of umami that makes this dip extra special, without using anchovies.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup low fat mayo
  • Small bunch of parsley
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ tbsp capers
  • Juice from ½ lemon add more to taste
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine Greek yogurt, mayo, parsley, garlic, capers, lemon juice, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding a splash of water if needed to thin it out. Taste and adjust seasoning.

Notes

  • Start with less capers! Capers are salty and powerful, so start small and add more if needed after blending.
  • Use fresh herbs only. Dried herbs won’t give you the same bright, fresh flavor that makes green goddess dip special.
  • Chill before serving. Letting the dip rest in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes helps the flavors meld together.
How to serve it:
This green goddess dip is perfect with raw veggies like carrots, cucumbers, snap peas, and bell peppers. I drizzle it over my green goddess bowls or my chicken sweet potato bowls, YUM! It’s also amazing drizzled over crispy roasted potatoes.
