Step 1: Pat the salmon dry with paper towels, then cut it into 1-inch bite-sized pieces. If it has skin on it, use a sharp knife to gently slice the skin off before dicing it into pieces.

How to Serve Cajun Salmon Bites

My absolute favorite way to serve Cajun salmon bites is with my Cajun orzo. They make the perfect pasta dinner! These would also go well on a bed of white rice with a squeeze of lemon, or made into salmon tacos (or use them to make salmon tostadas! Yum!). You can also use them as a topper on salads or with some crispy roasted potatoes on the side.

Storage Suggestions

Store leftover air fryer Cajun salmon bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to bring back that crispy texture, or warm gently in the microwave if needed.

Can I use frozen salmon to make salmon bites?

Yes, just make sure to fully thaw and pat it dry before cutting and seasoning for the best results. If the salmon is still a little bit frozen, that’s okay. As long as you can cut the salmon into cubes.

Can I make Cajun salmon bites in the oven?

Absolutely. Bake them at 400°F for about 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through and slightly crisp!
